Easy, Breezy, Beach Bum

Hey look- I kept my promise about posting more regularly! Keeping this one short because it's a fairly simple summer look. I found this gorgeous blue and white floral print cover up at TJ Max (I'm really on a roll with this whole bargain shopping thing) and paired it with my handy dandy white hat from Nordstrom Rack last summer (see, I can be thrifty when I want to be, MOM). The result is a relaxed, chic ensemble perfect for roaming the beach or wearing to the pool.

I'm a big fan of anything flowy so this cover up is my new favorite thing to wear, I even wore it to dinner as a sundress one night. The loose cut and bell sleeves are incredible flattering and I love how the white crochet provides a little structure to the refreshing floral print. The blue and white design reminds me of those delicate China patterns on porcelain so it all feels very delicate to me.
Excuse how orange my hair looks here, I think I need to get it touched up- it looks fine in person but sometimes in pictures it looks darker than it actually is and it's really frustratingšŸ™ƒ

I really love the sleeves on this dress, there's something so fun about fabric fluttering every time you move. It also allowed me to move freely, which was perfect for my sunset horse ride! I've always loved horses- in elementary school I used to check this book about horses out from the library all the time and learn everything I could. Growing up, I'd ride my bike around the streets of Avenel pretending I was riding a horse- I'd even attempt sidesaddle. I never got to ride a horse until this year though so you can imagine how exhilarating it was for me. I'm still not over it.

(Her name is India and she's 15 and I miss her already)

Well, this brings me to the end of this post. I know it was short but I hope you all still enjoyed it! I'm sure you'll be hearing from me soon, byeeeee!
