Procrastinating in Pink

Supposedly it's officially fall but it definitely doesn't feel like it. I honestly never know what to wear these days- is it hot?? Is it cold?? Is there a hurricane???? In an attempt to outsmart this insane weather, I've been sticking to simple looks that can be layered as the weather fluctuates aka a flowy uniform of dresses, kimonos, and sturdy booties.

(Brandy Melville dress, print kimono,CROWN booties)

Shout to Yumi for the lovely print kimono I'm wearing here- the maroon and navy designs are the perfect complement to any solid colored sundress and the fabric is thin enough to keep me from getting too hot as I sprint to class. I don't actually ever wear hats in real life but it looks cool so here we are....

I also finally got to wear this super cute necklace I got at H&M last summer! It's gold with an over-sized pink crystal embedded in a pendant and definitely adds a tastefully luxe touch that isn't overdone. Longer pendant necklaces are a great way to elongate your torso as well as infuse a little sparkle.

These black booties have become my everyday walking shoes because of how comfortable they are. I'm hoping they'll last through this winter for me to take to LONDON next semester!!! I just found out a little while ago that I've been accepted into Gallatin's fashion studies program at NYU London and AM SO EXCITED!!!! Museums, fish & chips, British boys, traveling around Europe, British boys...it's gonna be an amazing semester. I'm especially excited to be spending my semester abroad with so many of my Kappa sisters!! We're gonna kill it.

Sorry this is post was so delayed, I've been procrastinating everything basically. I've finally caught up on my school work though so yay! I'm a free woman. Kind of. Not really. It's fall break at NYU this weekend so I'll definitely be slipping home for a bit to see my family after I finish the next round of homework that's due next week. After that I can concentrate on more important things, like whether to take one little or to take TWINS. It's intense stuff man. The sorority life is a quite difficult one, clearly.

Hope everyone's staying dry in the rain that just started pouring!!
